ASUP strike to start Wednesday

The Educational Employees Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has introduced its determination to embark on an indefinite strike from Wednesday, December 12.

ASUP Nationwide Treasurer, Suleiman Usman, disclosed this whereas briefing reporters, shortly after the union’s Nationwide Govt Council (NEC) assembly on Friday in Kaduna State.

Usman famous that the choice was taken on the finish of the assembly, which lasted for a number of hours on the Kaduna Polytechnic.

He defined that the deliberate industrial motion, adopted the failure of the Federal Authorities to implement all of the agreements it entered with the union since 2016.
