Shehu Sani, the Senator representing Kaduna district has reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari’s refusal to sign the Electoral Bill.
Buhari had for the third time withheld his assent to the invoice.
This was disclosed by Buhari’s Senior Particular Assistant on Nationwide Meeting Issues (Senate), Senator Ita Enang.
Addressing State Home Correspondents on the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Enang refused to state Buhari’s causes for his motion.
Enang disclosed that the invoice was returned to the Nationwide Meeting.
Reacting, Sani condemned Buhari’s determination, warning the president to not be a par taker of these not in help of credible election.
The Kaduna lawmaker on His Twitter web page wrote: “Opposition to the Electoral modification Invoice is a disservice to democracy.
“The President shouldn’t be in league with these allergic to credible elections.
“How can the ruling elites now worry and discard the chariot that delivered them to energy, one they showered a lot praises?”
