In the open again is 6ix9ine. He is supposedly in a completely different nation, though.
A video of 6ix9ine in Cuba surfaced on Monday, March 27. The FBI informant rapper from Brooklyn, New York, is seen in the video in Pinar del Rio’s countryside. He is sporting an unbuttoned shirt and a big hat as he climbs an embankment. When he gets to the top, he is greeted by several people who are quite kind.
According to Google translate, the words on the video say “6ix9ine again in Cuba but with a different flair.”
6ix9ine was being jumped in a LA Fitness bathroom the last time he was seen on camera. As was previously mentioned, on March 21, recordings showing Tekashi being attacked by three individuals who beat him for more than a minute while he had no security led to his hospitalization.
All last week, the beating was the topic of much discussion online, with many people—including Boosie BadAzz—perceiving it as 6ix9ine’s payback for tipping off his old gangmates in the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.
Yet it’s not clear why the beating occurred. Authorities have made a statement regarding the assault and have pleaded with the public’s help in apprehending those who committed it. Others like Wack 100 and Jim Jones have commented on the incident in the days following the assault. Also, advice on how to prevent future restroom beatings was given to 6ix9ine.
Several people believe that the beating was related to an altercation that 6ix9ine had just days earlier at a baseball game. After the incident, the usually vocal rapper has been silent on the radio.
