Weeks after making the announcement, Kid Cudi postpones the Moon Man's Landing Festival

Unfortunately, Kid Cudi won’t be holding his first Moon Man’s Landing Festival this year. The rapper, who was born in Cleveland, made the announcement that his hometown would be the site of his first-ever event. He has seen several hurdles in his endeavor to create a business, though. The rapper broke the news to his fans in a statement that he posted on Twitter. I’m going to have to cancel Moon Man’s Landing this year, I’ve got some bad news. I understand that you guys and I both wanted an outside festival, but the city wouldn’t allow it,” he said.

The rapper of “Porsche Topless” continued by claiming that his attempt to host the Moon Man’s Landing Festival in an arena was met with additional resistance from his fan base. As a result, Kid Cudi said that the festival would return the following year rather than attempting to hold an event that would have probably failed due to hurried planning. “But I knew u guys weren’t feeling it, so I chose to host it at the arena instead of canceling the whole thing because I still wanted to deliver something cool to the city. Don’t even fall! The good news is here. I’ll be bringing the festival back the next year, hopefully with some of the same performers, and it will take place outside, he continued.

Kid Cudi is upbeat despite the fact that the City of Cleveland will not support the festival and that many were hesitant to attend a concert in an arena. He clarified that he would probably have to hold the Moon Man’s Landing festival an hour away from Cleveland. “Moon Man’s Landing is still alive, though I doubt the city will accept anything in the city! And we’ll locate a better location for you all to have an unforgettable experience,” he stated.

Kid Cudi is presently working on his new album, Insano, in addition to the event. Regarding the tracklist or the release date, he hasn’t given much information. In spite of this, he believes the album will be “the album of the year,” as he promised fans on Instagram Live in March. Most recently, he changed his mind regarding claims he made to Zane Lowe that the work would be his last before retiring. We will give you more details about the project and the Moon Man’s Landing Festival.
