NLE Choppa's Loss of His Powerade Deal is Caused by Ja Morant's Suspension

The suspension of Ja Morant affected many facets of the entertainment industry, including a Powerade commercial featuring NLE Choppa. Choppa’s latest song, “Mo Up Front,” was intended to serve as the music but was also yanked along with the advertisement itself that featured Morant. Yet after the Grizzlies player’s gun-flashing episode, it appears that both players missed their chance to get the bag. Naturally, NLE has little control over it, which is regrettable given that he is not as well-known commercially as other musicians who appear in advertisements. Whilst he will probably have more opportunities like this in the future, this might have significantly increased his profile and brand.

The ad was a part of Ja and Powerade’s “What 50% More Means” campaign, according to TMZ’s claim and individuals close to their camps. The advertisement also emphasized March Madness in the NCAA. Those plans were abandoned following the basketball star’s suspension and the ensuing investigations. But according to TMZ’s sources, the two are still close friends, get along well, and keep their romance going. Because of his ardent support of the Grizzlies, the Memphis rapper led the team out for their first home game.

With Ja Morant, NLE Choppa loses his Powerade spot.

The “Shotta Flow” MC will actually play in the team’s Monday celebrity basketball game (March 20). It should be a joyous occasion, and proceeds from it will go to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. The musician will soon give fans a ton of heat in terms of music. Reportedly, “Ain’t Gonna Respond,” his upcoming song featuring Lil Wayne, will be released the following week. Also, it will be the final single—or one of the final singles—before the April release of Cottonwood 2, his follow-up album.

For the benefit of the players, the Memphis NBA franchise changed its travel policies in response to Morant’s predicament. It seems that the entire crew frequently encountered difficulties on the trip. Also, its participants won’t be permitted to spend the night in the cities they visit. Instead, they must leave for their next destination right away following a game. Comment below with your opinions on this and check back with HNHH for updates on NLE Choppa and Ja Morant.
