We had worked with her quite a bit in the past, and we had the impression that she was getting better and better each time. We haven’t been able to assist her for the past five years due to Walker County’s ongoing attacks on our family, ourselves, and the business that our family owns. This is because the company is owned by our family. Even though we haven’t been able to do anything because of those attacks, we had the impression that she was improving over time.
We have been powerless to respond because of such attacks. Then, the previous evening, we received a call from a mutual acquaintance alerting us that she had passed tragically suddenly. She was a kind and generous woman who never carried resentment or hostility in her heart toward anyone. She was a good friend who just needed a chance, but it was difficult for this hellishly awful environment to give her that chance.
She was a friend who would go above and beyond to help. The “powers that be” in Walker County are ready to tear anyone to shreds for the sake of their own egotism and brutality, as seen by all of this, which helps to show that there is no sympathy or empathy for any of the citizens of the county. On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, Brandi N. Reed of Jasper, Alabama, who was 44 years old, passed away at Walker Baptist Hospital. She received care and was admitted to the hospital on Monday, April 3, 2023.
