Authorities in Oklahoma discovered seven bodies in a rural area Monday while searching for two missing teens. The Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office could not immediately confirm the victim’s identity but said authorities were no longer looking for the girls or the man they believed to be dating. “We’ve had some issues and pain, but it’s been pretty bad,” Sheriff Eddie Rice said. Here’s what we know so far.
Why are authorities looking for the two teenagers?
The sheriff’s office first sounded the alarm Monday morning, saying it was looking for 14-year-old Ivy Webster. “She traveled to the McAlester area with a friend on Saturday and was due to return home at 5 p.m. last night,” the alert said. State authorities then issued a broader EMA, or Endangered Missing Person Notice, for Webster and 16-year-old Brittany Brewer. They also added Jesse L. McFadden at age 39.
The two teens were last seen in Henrietta at 1:22 p.m. on Monday, the alert said, sharing that “the two may have been traveling with Jesse McFadden in a white Chevy Avalanche .”
What do we know about the victims?
Around 3 p.m. Monday, police executed a search warrant at McFadden’s residence, where they found seven bodies. At a brief news conference, the sheriff declined to answer questions about the exact whereabouts of the bodies, details of weapons or the manner of death.

Rice said police were awaiting the coroner’s report to identify one of the victims, but said “we believe we have located these individuals” and police “are no longer looking for Webster, Brewer and McFar ascend”. State authorities canceled the EMA on Monday.
Brittany’s father Nathan Brewer confirmed to local media News on the 6th that his daughter was also among the victims. “Brittany is an outgoing person,” Brewer said in a television interview late Monday. “She was actually chosen as Ms. Henryetta, she competed in the Miss National pageant in Tulsa in July, and now she doesn’t make it because she’s dead. She’s gone.”
Janet Mayo of Westville, Oklahoma, confirmed to The Associated Press on Tuesday that her 35-year-old daughter, Holly Gase, was among the victims. State records show Gass and McFadden applied for a marriage license in 2022. The Henrietta Public School System issued a statement late Monday saying “several” students were victims.
