A Virginia family is mourning the tragic death of their son who passed away unexpectedly this week. Adam Nimaga was an Economics student at the Vanderbilt University. Adam took his own life following a battle with depression and mental anxiety.
According to reports, Adam Nimaga died from an apparent suicide at the parking structure of the Vanderbilt Student Health Center. law enforcement agencies and EMS were called to the scene for a body-found report.
According to investigations, Adam Nimaga was sadly pronounced dead from a self-inflicted injury. Vanderbilt University Police Department says the student jumped off the parking structure.
Authorities said there was no threat to the public. The death is currently being investigated as a suicide after officials say said, Adam left a suicide note sending his love to his family.
Adam Nimaga was a second-year student at Vanderbilt University and a graduate of Collegiate School and Political Science (LSE). The hardworking man was also the Vice President of Operations at Black Star Rentals (a small student-run bed rental service.)
Until his death, Adam was a 2024 Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Cain Brothers. He also worked at 3Chopt Investment Partners as an intern in 2022.
