Alicia Acuna Death And Obituary – Alicia Acuna, a Fox News reporter, gave her son a warm hug as she watched the shooting at his high school on live streaming.
Acuna took part in a terrifying incident outside East High School in Denver, Colorado, on Wednesday when a student brought a weapon to the campus and fired on staff members as they were conducting a search.
During her report, Acuna had an emotional reunion with her son when she noticed him leaving the school across the street and raced to apologized to him.
Acuna moved back to embrace his son and apologized to the camera, “Sorry, I haven’t seen my kids since this whole thing fell apart. Acuna informed her kid she had to “very quickly” finish her report as they hugged.
Acuna explained that her kid was the first to inform her of the incident when she returned and that he was alright.
Her kid contacted her while she was at her desk telling her there were “cops everywhere.” While messaging her mother, Acuna’s sister, in a closet during the tragic incident, Acuna’s niece, who attends East High School, was also there.
Acuna recalled the event and said that her son was “the one who told me what happened during the school lockdown.” A 17-year-old college student who was the shooter fled the scene and is still at large.
The high school was shaken by a second incident involving a gun this academic year. On February 13, a kid was fatally shot close to the school. Student rallies and strikes demanding gun regulation followed the killing.
