Angela Mears Death And Obituary – Angela Mears has been elevated by Weber Shandwick to Global Executive Creative Director. Mears reports to Global Chief Creative Officer Tom Beckman in this newly created position. Mears will collaborate closely with client, strategic, and creative leaders to “create borderless teams and innovative methods of working,” according to a release from Weber Shandwick. She will oversee client work for IKEA parent company Ingka, McDonald’s, and Airbnb. In his last position, which he held for the last 11 years with the agency, Mills oversaw the creative operations in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Juliet Fox and Louisa Hager, two creative directors who will co-lead initiatives in three West Coast cities, will take over as her successors.

In addition to being executive creative director for the US West region, Mills worked at the firm for 11 years and was in charge of the creative departments in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
Weber Shandwick reported a 4.9% growth in global sales to $872 million in 2021 and a 5% increase in U.S. revenue to $520 million, according to PRWeek’s 2022 agency business report. She will be succeeded as creative director by Juliet Fox and Louisa Hager, who will collaborate on projects in three West Coast cities.
