Anthony Green suicide: Chick-fil-A Drive-Thru in Georgia Leaves Two Death, What Happened

In a deadly incident that took place in the drive-thru of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Georgia, two people were killed in what seems to have been a murder-suicide. The incident happened on Wednesday morning about seven o’clock in front of Truett’s Chick-fil-A, which is located on Shorter Avenue in Rome, according to the Rome Police Department.

According to reports, Anthony Green, 56, fatally shot Cassie Lashae Davis, 39, in the pick-up line of the drive-thru, causing her car to plunge over an embankment. The cops reported the event. The accused then allegedly shot himself in the head with the gun.

It’s believed that Green and Davis, who both currently call Rome home, once shared a love relationship. After the shooting, Davis’ car continued to go forward, giving the impression that there had been an accident. As a result, the police were initially called to the scene of what was described as a collision involving two automobiles.

Prior to the arrival of the officers, the police, in the words of the police, “received more information that the incident was a shooting rather than an accident.” When police arrived at the fast food restaurant’s location later, they found a horrific scene.

One of the people was discovered inside a sizable silver SUV on Shorter Avenue, according to a report in the Rome News-Tribune by Assistant Police Chief Debbie Burnett, while the other was seen standing outside a car close to the drive-thru pickup area.

It was found that Wayne and Davis had both passed tragically at the scene. Her claims are supported by the preliminary evidence, which points to a murder-suicide in which Wayne shot Davis before shooting himself.

The county coroner’s investigation revealed that Davis had been shot three times altogether, all with a handgun. There is no proof, according to the chief of the police department, that the incident was connected in any way to the Chick-fil-A company.

She continued, “The incident is not tied to Chick-fil-A; rather, it took place on the restaurant’s grounds. “The incident took place on the restaurant’s property.”
