The brothers’ family in Perth is reportedly pleading with the public for help in locating the two males who have gone missing in Mexico. While on the road with another American buddy in Mexico’s Baja California region on April 27, Jake and Callum Robinson vanished without a trace. They were supposed to reserve an Airbnb in Rosarito, according to the brother’s mom, but they never showed up. The fact that Callum has diabetes makes the hunt all the more critical.
As officials “intensify” their hunt for the missing person, local news outlet En Constraste reports that one individual has been arrested in connection with the case. The Mexican authorities have also detained a lady in relation to the case of the missing Robinson boys, Jake and Callum. The two have been incommunicado with loved ones since Saturday, when they went surfing but never arrived at their planned location. They were accompanied by another American acquaintance on their journey. Local media outlets have reported that the trio was last seen in the Esenada region during the weekend.
The search for the two guys has expanded to include a Special Operations Group as well as local officials. Jake, a doctor, was reportedly visiting his American lacrosse player brother. An article in the local press stated that a woman was apprehended after being discovered with methamphetamine and one of the men’s phones. He said the cops located the woman by tracing the signal from one of the men’s phones that had gone missing.
Mother Debra Robinson made a plea for assistance in a social media post about her sons who went missing. Their companion on this journey happens to be an American citizen, she informed us. The group was supposed to check into an Airbnb in Rosarito following their camping trip, but they never showed up.There is also a medical worry because Callum has type one diabetes. There has been a four-day gap in Callum’s social media activity, following two days of consistent posts on their surf trip on Instagram. On Monday, he was also supposed to be at his San Diego job. Two Australians were reported missing in Mexico, and their family has been informed that the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is offering consular assistance. The parents of Callum and Jake are reportedly rushing to get a plane to the area.
