On his 68th birthday, Bruce Willis is showered with affection.
Emma Heming Willis shared a home video of the actor on Instagram on Sunday to help honor her husband and commemorate the momentous day.
In the clip, which is set to Stevie Wonder’s “As,” Bruce can be seen spending time with his wife, 44, and their two children — daughters Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8 — over the years, frolicking on the beach, sledding in the snow and enjoying other special moments.
“He is pure love. He is so loved. And I’ll be loving him always. Happy Birthday my sweet 💌,” Emma captioned the tribute post to Bruce, whose family disclosed last month that he has frontotemporal dementia.
She continued, “My birthday wish for Bruce is that you continue to keep him in your prayers and highest vibrations because his sensitive Pisces soul will feel it 🙏🏽 Thank you so much for loving and caring for him too 💞.”
After sharing in a series of Instagram Story posts that she was feeling conflicted about meeting Bruce’s birthday, Emma released her most recent video a few hours later.
“My husband’s birthday is today. I cried when I woke up this morning, as evidenced by my puffy eyes and runny nose “In one footage, she added. “I just think it’s crucial that you consider all of the angles here.”
“I frequently receive this message or hear “Oh, you’re so strong,” from others. I have no idea how you manage it. No option is offered to me, “Emma kept on explaining. I wish I were, but I’m also trying to raise two children in this.
“We must sometimes put on our big girl underwear and get to work in our lives. That’s what I’m doing as well “.. The…….. But I do experience moments of sadness and grief every day, and today, on his birthday, I’m particularly affected.
Bruce also has three daughters—Rumer Willis, 34, Scout Willis, 31, and Tallulah Willis, 29—with his ex-wife Demi Moore in addition to the two girls he has with Emma.
Moore, 60, recorded a joyful scene from Bruce’s birthday celebrations over the weekend and shared a video on Instagram with the family singing a hearty “Happy Birthday” and presenting a cake with candles.
Bruce’s family joined in the cheers, and he showed signs of enjoyment by grinning and pumping his fist in the air. Then, amid loud cheers and acclaim, he blew out his birthday candles, followed by a chorus of “Hip-hip, hurrah!”
“BW, happy birthday! I’m so delighted we could honor you today “The video has captions from Moore. “I adore our family and you. We appreciate the affection and well wishes from everyone; they are felt by all of us.”
