One of the best things about being Method Man’s daughter is that you can be talented, as Chey, the artist’s daughter, shows. Recently, the rising female rapper got praise from her famous predecessor Trina, even though she just started her rap career. The artist from Miami even asked Chey to join her onstage as a special guest earlier this week during a show in Detroit. Trina told her, “I always like to show love to people,” as she said hello.
After that, Chey thanked Trina for her kindness on social media and posted a picture of the two of them together. “Remember how we told you I was going to take over? “@trinarockstarr [four heart-shaped emojis] thank you so much for having me!!” she wrote. “I appreciate you and respect you so much for everything you do for upcoming artists!!!” Chey went on, “I PLAYED IN DETROIT FOR A SOLD-OUT SHOW!!!!!!! I still can’t think about it. “Thank you so much.”
Chey is “so grateful” that Trina helped her sign.
Although having a famous father does help Chey network, she would not have had the chances she has had without her skills and hard work. In a chat with Shaoliiin Entertainment earlier this year, she cleared up some common misunderstandings about her work and said that her father has always pushed her to reach her goals.
She said, “A lot of people would say that he could just call me and put me on,” but “at the end of the day, you gotta put in the work.” “He could do that, but he’d rather see me work hard for it. Oh, and he’s going to back me a million times over.” He also wants to see the work, though. Do you think it’s okay for Trina to bring out Method Man’s daughter Chey at a show in Detroit? What about the part where she called the young artist a “inspiration”? Leave your ideas in the section below, and don’t forget to check TGtrends for more news.
