The search for two missing individuals from Birmingham came to an end on Sunday, when one of them was tragically found deceased and the other was discovered injured while walking down a street.
Two individuals, Cortez Thomas and Teshonda Means, were last seen in Birmingham’s Norwood neighborhood on Friday evening around 7:30 p.m.
The duo was riding on a three-wheel motorcycle, which was caught on a residential surveillance camera. On Sunday morning, people came across Means strolling in the northern part of Birmingham. She suffered injuries and was later taken to a medical facility.
Shortly after, Thomas was found dead next to the three-wheeler in a patch of overgrown grass near an abandoned residence. The exact spot can be found at the intersection of 20th Street and 15th Avenue North, nestled within the charming Druid Hills neighborhood.
A large number of family members have gathered at the location, which has been secured with yellow police tape. The investigation is still in its early stages, as authorities work to determine the cause of Thomas’ death, whether it was a result of a car accident or potentially involved foul play.
