Daniel Nix Death And Obituary – Brian Nix and Christy (née Thompson) Nix welcomed son Daniel Thomas Nix, now 23 years old, into the world on March 15, 2000 in Park Ridge, Illinois. On Friday, March 17, 2023, he passed away while on vacation in Mexico. Daniel recently completed his senior year at Marquette University and intends to earn a degree in Finance this May.
2018 saw his St. Viator High School graduation. Wisconsin’s Lake Geneva came to mind. He enjoys being as much as possible on the water, which he refers to as his “happy spot.” Danny is a marina and boatman at Gage Marina. Popular hobbies include wakeboarding and boating. He also enjoys vehicles and music. Danny epitomizes the “party animal” who cherishes spending time with his loved ones. He frequently performs here, singing and dancing.
Danny will be remembered by those who knew him as a lovely, kind man who cherished excitement and all forms of adventure. Christy and Brian Nicks, Daniel’s parents, are still alive. His parents, Nancy (with Bill) Robbie, Tom Nix, and Daniel (Jean) Thompson; his siblings, Megan (Ricky) Minkey, Mary-Kate, Tommy, and Kyle Nix; Danielle Doty and their kids, Taylor and Kendall; and his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. His grandma Margaret “Peggy” Nicks and brother Johnny Babe predeceased him. Visitation will take place at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004, on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Prayer will be said on Friday, March 24, 2023 at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois, at 12:15 p.m.
