America’s Got Talent’ Star Nightbirde Dies After Battle With Cancer At 31

Former America’s Got Talent star, Jane Marczewski, professionally known by her stage name Nightbirde, has died after a battle with cancer, her family confirmed.

Nightbirde skyrocketed to fame after winning the Golden Buzzer on “America’s Got Talent” in June 2021. During her audition, She disclosed to the judges that she was battling cancer that had spread to her lungs, spine and liver. She impressed judge Simon Cowell with her positivity.”You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy,” she told the judges.Cowell awarded Marczewski a coveted “golden buzzer,” which advanced her to the next round of competition.

Nightbirde’s Golden Buzzer Audition

Tributes poured in for the talented singer. “We Love you, Nightbirde,” ‘AGT’ host Terry Crews wrote on Instagram. “Our condolences go to her closest family & friends.”

“We love you. Rest in peace,” judge Heidi Klum wrote on her Instagram stories.
