Raju Srivastava, who has been comatose for the past nine days, was brought to the top hospital in Delhi on August 10 after having a heart attack while exercising there.

His management earlier this week stated that the actor’s health has slightly improved.

The family of Mr. Srivastava sent a statement on his official Instagram profile last week stating that he was in “stable” condition and asking people to “ignore any rumor/fake news being disseminated.”

Rajnath Singh, the defense minister, Yogi Adityanath, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Raju Srivastava’s family last week to inquire about his health.

The 58-year-old comic passed out while using a treadmill after complaining of chest pain. His trainer drove him to AIIMS, where he received twice CPR and was brought back to life.

One of the top stand-up comedians in the nation, Mr. Srivastava, is well-known on television.

His family asked people to “avoid any rumor/fake news being propagated” in a statement posted last week on Mr. Srivastava’s official Instagram page, which stated that his status was “stable.”

Raju Srivastava’s family was contacted last week by the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to inquire about his health.

On a treadmill, the 58-year-old comedian complained of chest trouble before passing out. He was taken to AIIMS by his trainer, where he received cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) twice and was brought back to life.

A well-known face on television is Mr. Srivastava, one of the most popular stand-up comedians in the nation.

The comedian, who has been in the entertainment industry since the late 1980s, gained notoriety after taking part in “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’s” inaugural season in 2005.
In Hindi movies like “Maine Pyar Kiya,” “Baazigar,” “Bombay to Goa,” and “Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya,” he has made appearances. He participated in the third season of “Bigg Boss.”

The comedian currently serves as the head of Uttar Pradesh’s Film Development Council.
