Heather Kramer of Eastman, Wisconsin, who was also from Columbus, Wisconsin, and the beloved wife of Roy Kramer has died. Late Tuesday night, there was a deadly collision on State Highway 35 in the Township of Seneca that left Heather, Benjamin and Simon Kramer dead. Heather Kramer was a Midwife at Trillium Midwifery Services and a member of several health organizations. According to the Crawford County sheriff’s office, the collision happened at approximately 11:30 p.m.
Sheriff Dale McCullick says that the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received notification of a head-on accident between a sport utility vehicle and a semi tractor trailer on WI-State Highway 35, just north of Lynxville, in the Township of Seneca, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at around 11:36 p.m. The SUV’s driver, Benjamin Kramer (16) of Eastman, was driving south on STH 35 when he crossed the centerline and struck a northbound semi tractor trailer driven by Jaswant Mahi (44) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, head-on, according to the results of an inquiry.
Simon Kramer, 13, of Eastman, was seated in the rear, while Benjamin’s mother, Heather Kramer, 45, of Eastman, was occupying the front passenger seat. Benjamin and Simon were declared dead at the scene of the collision, and Heather was taken to the hospital, where she eventually passed away from her wounds. Jaswant was unharmed in the collision.
Benjamin Kramer, 16, was the driver of the SUV when it crossed the centerline and struck a semi-trailer. At the scene, Benjamin and Simon Kramer, his younger brother, were declared deceased. Their mother, Heather Kramer, was taken to the hospital, where she passed away. Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
