Israeli Or Eshkar Death And Obituary – After being hospitalized for a week and a half and fighting for his life, Eshkar passed away at Ichilov Hospital.
Or Eshkar, one of the Israeli men who has gravely hurt in the terrorist shooting incident in Tel Aviv 11 days ago, passed away as a result of his injuries.
The Ichilov Tel Aviv Medical Center released the news of his passing on Monday in the late afternoon.
Or arrived to our facility following extensive field resuscitation that continued at the hospital. He was transported right away to the operating room, where despite all chances, the surgeons were able to stabilize his condition. The Ichilov Medical Center’s director, Professor Roni Gamzo, said in the statement: “Unfortunately, the severity of the wound was fatal, and after a valiant struggle that lasted for many days during which we witnessed an iron man fight for his life, we had to announce his death today.

On March 9, a Palestinian terrorist opened fire on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv, injuring three people, including Eshkar. Mutaz al-Khuwaja, a 23-year-old terrorist and the son of a Hamas agent, was shot and killed by a special forces police officer who was on duty at the time.
According to Dean Elsdunne, Israeli police spokesman, “the terrorist began firing at bystanders [in] a cafe” before being chased and shot dead by policemen who “succeeded in preventing a much greater attack serious to take place”.
The choice by Eshkar’s family to donate his organs was also disclosed in the Ichilov Tel Aviv Medical Center statement.
I want to express my gratitude to Or’s noble family for asking me to help save a life by donating his organs. We appreciate them for allowing us to be a part of their son’s life and hope that we were able to support them during this trying time. Regrettably, under tragic circumstances, all of us in Ichilov were fortunate to be exposed to a great and precious family.
In honor of the slain Or Eshkar, people visit the terrorist attack site in central Tel Aviv, Israel, with flowers and candles.
“A light of exceptional quality, which rained only goodness, love, and giving on everyone who touched its path, went out today,” the victim’s mother Natalie Eshkar said in the statement. We would like to express our gratitude to the whole personnel at the Ichilov Hospital for their professionalism, dedication, and compassion throughout the day and night. To the countless incredible friends that stood by us day and night, gave us hugs, and wept with us over the entire week, which will long be etched in our hearts. ‘Strengthened, supported, and prayed, each in his own way and according to his faith, to all the people of Israel who were with us.
Eshkar’s passing represents the 15th Israeli victim of Palestinian terrorism since the year 2023 began.
