Krista Smith Death – To Recall in Love Krista Marie Smith was that individual. We sincerely apologize to Krista’s family and friends for her passing on November 29, 2023, in Cranbrook, British Columbia. Krista attended Selkirk School for her high school education, graduating in 1999.
She then underwent stylistic training, and in 2004 she obtained her Red Seal Cosmetologist license. At the age of 42, her untimely death occurred. Assisting others in need was her favorite activity. She was considered a valuable employee by Ankors, as she contributed to the enhancement of the community services they offered. Camping, fishing with her parents, and geocaching with her son Riley were some of her favorite activities.
She would have wanted nothing more than to spend time with her son, even though her schedule prevented her from doing so. Krista had a deep affection for her two kitties at the same time. The people who will miss Kirsten Smith are her parents, Jim and Alice Smith; her brother, Randy Smith; her sister, Melissa Knight; her partner, Felipe Prado; and a large number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Both her beloved Brennon Bauer and her grandparents passed away before Krista was even born.
On December 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., there will be a funeral service for Krista at the Christ Church Anglican in Cranbrook, British Columbia. It is open to those who knew and loved Krista to attend and give their condolences. The family requests that donations be sent to the East Kootenay Network of People who use Drugs (EKNPUD) or Ankors.bc.ca in Krista’s name.
