Kyle passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 30. He was born on January 7, 1993 in Lansing, Michigan. Kyle (Kaylee) Brown graduated from Portland High School in 2011. He works in the drama club and contributes frequently to blood banks.

He enlisted in the Army National Guard as soon as he had his diploma. Kyle is enthusiastic about reading, writing, acting, drawing, and both the performing and visual arts. He also loves to travel, especially to Alaska. His love of bees and the natural world will be remembered as his most cherished interests.
With his own company, Brown’s Bee Service, he removes bees and hives, produces and sells products made of honey, and uses beeswax. He has a wealth of experience in all of these fields. He runs his own business as well. In addition to his sisters Nakia Burhans (Austin Buskirk), Josey Goforth, and brothers Devin (Brittany) Brown, Sean Brown, and Trebblehans, Kyle is also survived by his nephews Kevin Baskirk, Jackson Brown, and Ken Nadi’s niece.
The only living members of his family are Craig Brown (Diana Barbila) and Melonie Aledine (Jay Goofs), who are his parents. He also left behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins in addition to his parents and grandparents. We will miss him dearly because his demise came far too soon. We are thinking of you.
On May 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., a memorial service will be held at Thornfield United Methodist Church. On Fridays from 10am to 11am, the chapel is open for visits. Following the church service, a full military funeral will be held at East Sebewa Cemetery. Lunch will be provided in the church where the funeral was held following the service.
