“On Friday, August 26, 2022, at around 7.30 pm, a kid from Italy who was on vacation with her parents was in a courtyard of a Munich hotel,” said a statement from the Munich police. The toddler suffered serious injuries when a 200-kilogram stone statue tumbled down for unknown reasons.
“Several individuals were alerted to the situation by a scream, and they were able to liberate the child. Then a call was placed for an emergency. You are and will always be our angel, the girl’s lawyer mother Valentina Poggi wrote on social media. Peace be with you, love of our lives. The girl was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Munich, where she eventually passed away, according to police.
