The sizzling streak of Lola Brooke continues. Her popularity has increased significantly online over the past year as a result of the success of “Don’t Play With It,” which just got a remix with Latto and Yung Miami. The two Southern rappers aren’t the only ones to show her love, though. Pusha T and Meek Mill, two prominent rappers, have lent their support to the budding Brooklyn artist. It is clear that the latter had an impact on the “So Disrespectful” MC, and she hasn’t been afraid to admit it since.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Lola talked about Meek’s influence on her. She even attempted to rap the first few lines of “Dreams & Nightmares,” albeit she mispronounced the lyrics. I once prayed for situations like this. I used to pray for moments like this to rhyme like this, she exclaimed. “Now I’m in that position. “When I initially met my particular hero, Meek Mill, he was rapping like rhymes and asking, ‘Lo, why you being so shy? I recognize your lyrics. I just couldn’t believe that the person I’ve been looking up to for a little while understood not just who I was but also my songs.

Lola Brooke, in Meek Mill’s opinion, has a great deal of potential to become a major celebrity in her own right. In addition to bragging about finding new talent, the Philadelphia rapper posted his response to the Rolling Stone video online. I’ve known Lola was a star since I first saw her, and I’ve always wanted her to know that I agree. I’m assuming I have abilities to discern which ones are truly unique off the cuff,” he added.
Since then, the two have undoubtedly grown closer, and it appears that they are working on some new music. Lola Brooke acknowledged that they have a song together in an interview with Q99.7 Atlanta, but she wouldn’t say when it would be released. “All my life I’ve been waiting for that… Despite the numerous times I had observed him at work, she admitted that she had been anxious. “I simply kept reminding myself, ‘Don’t be kind with him’… He didn’t seem like he was going to be gentle with me. A release date for the collaboration will have to be determined later. Look at Meek’s response up there.
