The South Carolina Sheriff’s Department is conducting an investigation into a missing persons case involving individuals who vanish under suspicious circumstances. In the middle of September 2021, several months after she had last been in contact, Lorraine Garcia’s ex-daughter-in-law Lamanda Kandice Moore reported her missing.
The prospects of finding Lorraine Garcia alive seem small based on the facts that Investigator Vicki Rains and her group gathered as they started their inquiry into her abduction. Since she was last seen, Lorraine’s son Anthony Garcia had not filed a missing person’s report, leaving her possessions outside in the front yard. He remarked that he had no idea where she was but hoped she was ok.
When police got a search warrant for the house, they discovered bleach had been used. The air mattress Lorraine had slept on, which was in a garbage bag in the back of Anthony’s truck, was also covered with blood.

A tape of a lady with the same name contacting a bank gave investigator Raines and her colleagues reason to believe that Lorraine may still be alive despite the disconcerting evidence. They were able to locate her address, so they headed there to try and locate her.
When Raines walked down the street, she discovered Lorraine Garcia to the shock of the investigators that she was still alive and healthy.

She said, “He spoke to me once, and I restrained him. The first and last time he mentioned it was then.
