Maggie MarlinDeath And Obituary – On March 12, 2023, Mary Margaret Marlin, 38, passed away. When she passed away, she was a resident of Edmond, Oklahoma. On December 19, 2022, a woman who had spent her entire life in Springfield and was 97 years old passed away at home with her family by her side. Homer and Jewel Williams welcomed Mary into the world on August 13, 1925. The Williams family also included her grandparents.
1943 marked the year she received her diploma from Springfield Senior High School. On June 23, 1956, she tied the knot with Lowell P. Marlin, beginning a new chapter in her life as a married woman. She was well-known for her caring disposition as a mother and for having a compassionate heart, not just to her own family but also to the local populace. She left an unforgettable impression on a large number of people, and her kind and loving nature contributed to the development of a substantial number of meaningful relationships.
Since she joined the Wesley United Methodist Church in 1970, Mary has been a member of the community there. She managed the management of church visiting programs for three decades and was a pioneer in the industry. She was also very proud of herself for finishing nine separate bible studies, one of which being the Trinity Prize, successfully. She was very proud of herself for accomplishing this.
She was also the only original founder of the Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild still living at the time. This guild had existed since that year. Mary enjoyed quilting as a hobby, and as a result, she attended events all over the world. Both Mary’s devoted husband Lowell and their son Larry before her in death. Mary loved them both dearly. Homer Williams and Jewel Williams were her parents; they were wed. Williams is the youngest of four children; his sisters and brothers are named Freda Koch and Vonnie Rickman, respectively, and Edwin and Clyde Williams.
