Malcolm Heap Death – We regretfully inform you of the recent demise of Malcolm Heap, our dear friend and committed TRFC member. We are filled with deep sadness. Surrounded by his family, Malcolm’s valiant battle against cancer came to an end on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023, in his Teignmouth home. He heroically battled the illness for the whole year. His passing has left a void in our hearts, and we will always be incredibly grateful and respectful of him. Malcolm’s unwavering support was a major contributing factor to our club’s success.
His impact extended beyond the field of play, affecting not only the lives of athletes but also those of sponsors and supporters. His steadfast dedication and ferocious passion for the club will live on forever. The family has chosen that Malcolm will have a private funeral service today. However, for anyone who would like to get together and pay their respects to this true “Teign” hero, the clubhouse will be open this coming Sunday evening from six till eight. All family and friends are welcome to attend, and they are urged to share their memories of Malcolm.
We would want to express to Malcolm our sincere gratitude for being the remarkable person that he was. Every single one of us will be inspired by the remembrance of him. I hope he finds peace. The family requests that donations be sent to a charity that was very important to Malcolm rather than sending flowers. We are keeping Malcolm’s family in our prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. Please accept our sincere sympathies. We are all thinking about them and praying for them.
