Margaret P. Warren Death – After a brief illness, Margaret Pearson Warren, a devoted wife, mother, and friend, gently entered her eternal reward on December 27, 2023. Margaret is comforted by her three children and Johnny, her soul mate, as she leaves a legacy of love and generosity behind. Margaret was born in Brunswick, Georgia, on October 15, 1945, the first of six siblings—four sisters and two brothers.

Those fortunate enough to have known their youthful relationship will never forget the good times and mischief they made, even if one brother dies while they were young. Margaret’s whole life demonstrates the joy she receives from helping others. Her kitchen was a comfortable place where many special family moments were shared while preparing delicious meals.

Whether it was doing the dishes, spending time with loved ones, or helping her church community at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Margaret exemplified the selfless caregiver. Margaret spent her thirty years at the Anniston Army Depot and her twelve years at Lockheed Martin leaving a lasting effect on Building 363. Her unwavering efforts ensured that the procedure proceeded without a hitch, and her colleagues were very grateful to her.

Together with her beloved husband Johnny, to whom she was married for 42 years, Margaret’s sole living relatives are James Forrest, Wendy (Michael) Snyder, and Kristie (Randy) Goodson. Her brother Tony (Debra) Pearson, Mary Anne Guyton, and many others have fond memories of her. Among many others, Grandmama Margaret had grandchildren, including John and Whitley Snyder, who will always have fond memories of her.

Prior to her, Barbara Page, Phyllis Gaskins, Marie Albritton, and Martha and Marcus Pearson also lost a newborn brother named Rollie. Margaret’s loved ones will be deeply saddened by her passing. Come celebrate Margaret’s life and legacy with us on Saturday, December 30 at 2:00 PM at Anniston’s Hillcrest Baptist Church. Dr. Stephen Anthony and Reverend Milton Harris will preside over the funeral, which will be held in Anniston Memorial Gardens.

Two hours prior to the service, the family will hold a get-together at the church for their loved ones. Margaret’s memorial donations have been kindly sent to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 5117 Post Oak Road, Anniston, AL 36206. Margaret was a devoted and giving person. Margaret’s obituary, with its sincere tribute, serves as a reminder of the life she led—one that was full of love, joy, and devotion to the people she loved.
