Merchant Taylor High School boy Matthew Locke appeared on This Morning for the second time last week.
Matthew appeared to chat with hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby about vacuum cleaners, a passion he has had since receiving one as a gift at the age of four. Matthew reviews various vacuum cleaner models at home, discusses the pros and cons of each, and provides a live demonstration of suction power. You can check out Matthew’s performance below.
A vacuum cleaner-obsessed student has made thousands of pounds by buying broken machines, fixing them and then selling them on – and his clients include some of his teachers.

Matthew Lock, who has a collection of 150 vacuum cleaners, became interested in vacuum cleaners when he received his first toy, Henry, at the age of two. At age five, he vacuumed his home.
The 13-year-old now says he cleans by repairing and selling old machines, while also servicing every cleaning machine on the market.
Matthew, from Maher, Merseyside, said: “I remember in year four or five I had a rough idea of how to take it apart and think about how to make it work. That’s when The collection started.”
