Michelle Franke Death – Kind and lovely Michelle Arcinue Franke courageously battled acute lymphoblastic leukemia till her passing on December 17, 2023. Her 55-year-old demise has left a legacy of enduring relationships, kindness, and generosity. Michelle, the daughter of Edgardo and Lucenia Arcinue, was born on October 18, 1968. Michelle’s family formerly resided in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Grosse Pointe, Michigan, before moving to Pasadena, California.
After graduating from Polytechnic School in 1986, she attended Swarthmore College to finish her coursework before enrolling in the USC School of Medicine in 1998. Michelle did an excellent job supporting physicians and other medical personnel during her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Glendale Adventist Hospital. Michelle Franke and Jim Franke started their love tale in 1995 when they got married.
Despite being married for fifteen years, they remained close friends regardless of what transpired in their life. After leaving the medical sector, Michelle went through a period of change in her life. She met Ray Gaffney at Mammoth Lakes, and the two would go on to be partners for the next six years. Their favorite place to travel on vacation was the mountains, where they enjoyed hiking and skiing with their pets.
Ray and Michelle recently moved to Portland, Oregon, in the intention of beginning a life filled with unending love and exciting experiences. Michelle had a way of making people feel kindhearted. Everyone suffered as a result of her universal and selfless compassion. Even in the event that Michelle passes away too soon, her loved ones will carry on her legacy.
Her cherished parents, Edgardo and Lucenia, as well as her siblings, Ed, Liza, and Ferdinand, will honorably and dignifiedly continue her legacy. Michelle will always be remembered by those who matter to her, and her impact will last for many years. Michelle’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service on January 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Moreover, the event will take place in the Pasadena Athenaeum. We welcome all who had the good fortune to know Michelle to join us in celebrating her full life.
