Nadia Martone Death – On December 11, 2023, Nadia Martone, a Pastoral and Student Animator at Villa Maria High School, tragically passed suddenly. She was a native of Montreal, Quebec. As of the time of this publication, Nadia Martone’s family had not disclosed the circumstances surrounding her cause of death. “Friends, the sadness of Nadia’s passing has been quite painful; our hearts and prayers go out to her family,” was the social media post that revealed her death.
Nadia Martone: Who was she?
On May 2, 1969, Nadia Martone was born to her adored parents, Ernesto and Nella. She was a devoted and loving mother to her boys Francesco and Gianluca, as well as a loving sister to her brother Guido. Her spouse Marcello adored and valued her. At Villa Maria High School, Nadia worked as a student animator and pastoral counselor. She had a really giving nature and was a strong, devout woman.
Her involvement at the childcare, Villa Maria high school, and the parish of Missione Maria Ausiliatrice, Rivière-des-Prairies, has impacted a great number of lives. She comforted and encouraged many, making lifelong friends with her kind smile and listening ear. For those who were lucky enough to have known her, her generosity, sense of humor, and wisdom left a lasting impact. She was a treasured presence in the lives of her family and friends.

Nadia had a remarkable giving nature and was a strong, devout woman. Her work in the childcare, Villa Maria high school, and our parish, Missione Maria Ausiliatrice, Rivière-des-Prairies, has impacted a great number of lives. Dear Nadia, may you rest in peace in the tender arms of our Father in heaven.
As she commented, “Deepest condolences to her husband Marcello, her sons Francesco and Gianluca, her parents Ernesto and Nella, her brother Guido and her entire family and all her friends who share in grieving her loss,” Cathy Giulietti also expressed her sympathies to the family of Nadia.

The burial will take place in Le Repos St. Francois D’Assise cemetery (6893 Sherbrooke Est, Montreal QC H1N 1C7) after the service on December 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Maria Ausiliatrice (8555, Maurice-Duplessis Street, Montreal (Qc) H1E 4C3).
