On October 29, 2024, at approximately 7:40 p.m., officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department were dispatched to the 200 block of Snowcap Court in Glen Burnie following reports of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, they found a female victim lying on the ground in the parking lot, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical aid was immediately administered at the scene, and the victim was transported by Fire Department personnel to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Tragically, she was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival. The victim was later identified as 30-year-old Natasha Renne Harris, a resident of Glen Burnie.
The Anne Arundel County Police Homicide Unit took over the investigation. Homicide detectives, along with personnel from the Evidence Collection Unit, arrived to gather evidence from the scene.
They meticulously collected multiple items that could aid in unraveling the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Detectives are actively working on the case, and several witnesses were located and interviewed to piece together the events leading up to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are appealing to the public for assistance.
