Man Gets Caught In Police Net In Ogun State For Stealing Wires And Cables From A Church

In the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State, Mr. Omotayo Oni was detained on suspicion of stealing wires from the Deeper Life Bible Church Headquarters.
Oni was apprehended at 5:30 am on Wednesday by Ogun So-Safe Corps members from the Lotto division who were conducting a routine sweep of the axis, according to information provided to NAIJALOADED on Friday.

Oni tried to flee when the security guards asked him where he acquired the wires in his hands, according to the So-Safe Corps spokesperson, Moruf Yusuf.

He was reportedly pursued and detained by guys from the security company operated by the state government.

The alleged thief “admitted to having taken the cables near the site he was captured,” according to Yusuf, who claimed the interrogation took place without the use of torture.

He claims that

“It took the team hours to get to the exact area where the cables were stolen because he took them to so many erroneous places before he opened up and mentioned that the crime was committed in Deeper Life Church, State Headquarters,” the report stated.

Yusuf revealed that the Corps Commander, Soji Ganzallo, had given the squad the order to go to the mentioned church as part of efforts to verify where the cables were stolen from.

The Chief Security Officer and others at the church were shocked and enquired as to how he managed to avoid being apprehended with the powerful security network of the church.

They said.

The suspect and the evidence had been given to the police at the Redeemed divisional headquarters in the interim for additional investigation and maybe legal action.
