While he promised to enhance the production of weapons-grade material to increase his nuclear arsenal, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was photographed on Monday displaying a new, smaller nuclear warhead.
According to the official Korean Central News Agency, Kim visited the Nuclear Weapons Institute and examined the tactical warheads, also known as Hwasan-31s.
During cooperative naval drills between South Korea and the United States to improve defense and response capabilities, the delegation paid a visit to the institute.
Such military exercises have long been seen by #NorthKorea as a practice for an invasion.
