Ayrshire Dad Wallet: Grieving Scots Dad Heartbroken After Wallet in Memory of Baby Girl Stolen at Work

Following the theft of a wallet gifted to him in honor of his infant daughter, a bereaved Scots father says it is killing his heart.

Scott McPike has made a frantic appeal for the return of a customized wallet that was given to him as a Father’s Day present.

Scott received the blue wallet as a gift from Mia McPike, a young child who tragically died at the age of four months.

Scott McPike, 26, and Laura Ferrans, her devastated parents, lost their princess in May of this year after she battled a rare genetic condition.

Their beloved infant was treated by doctors for heart, lung, and brain malformations; she was never allowed to leave the hospital.

Scott, a resident of New Cumnock, East Ayrshire, has described how the priceless object he “cherishes more than anything” was taken from him while he was working at SCS Sofas in Kilmarnock.

“I never got a father’s day with my baby, it was an early father’s day gift,” Scott told Ayrshire Live.

It has a picture of Mia on it; it was the one and only thing she ever gave me.

“It’s heartfelt, and I’m very sorry someone could take that the wrong way.

“I don’t give a damn about what’s inside. The expenditure of money is unimportant to me. Just give it back, please.

Scott posted on social media about losing his wallet, and hundreds of others shared it to support the devastated father.

“My wallet was stolen from inside my work today in SCS in Kilmarnock, I couldn’t give a damn about the bank cards or anything in it, but I was given the wallet as a present by Laura from Mia before she went away and I value it more than anything,” the parent writes in a Facebook post.

Since they were taken, bank cards have also been used at Tesco and Iceland in Kilmarnock, so if anyone finds them, please let me know.
According to records, Scott’s cards were used at Tesco and Iceland in Kilmarnock.

According to reports, police are looking into the heist.
