On Tuesday at her Dallas workplace, her estranged husband fatally shot a deputy medical examiner before shooting himself.
James “Jed” Frost, 51, and Beth Frost, 46, who served as the medical examiner for the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office, were found dead from gunshot wounds at around 5 o’clock, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department.
The sheriff’s office reports that a second employee, who has not been officially named, was shot and hurt.
According to a number of reports, the couple was divorcing. The couple married in 2001, and their children are a 5-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl, according to the morning news.
Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley claims that Jed Frost entered the second-floor office through the building’s staff entrance.
