My hero, brother, and best friend.

I love you more than words can express. I’m heartbroken and at a loss of words. All I can really say is: thank you — thank you for the best sixteen years any sibling could ever ask for. You’ve taught me how to handle situations with grace and ease, how not to stress the little things, and, most importantly, how to be myself.

Thank you for all the nights I’d call you when I needed someone and you’d be there in an instant, without thinking twice. The nights we’d just sit and laugh for hours. Thank you.

It’s truly been a blessing being your little sister and getting to be around the most compassionate person every single day.

Everything’s for you now!💜 Our friends and family, Jack’s character was like none other I’ve ever met. I don’t think I stand alone when I say he was the most caring, selfless, and loving person in many peoples’ lives.

Jack was having the best time of his life at TCU, and I thank everyone who played even the smallest part in his happiness there. These nineteen years were not enough for me or anyone else who knew him.

Even one more talk, laugh, or hug wouldn’t be enough. He was taken too soon. The only way to make sense of a tragedy like this is to believe God has a reason behind it and a better plan.

I’ve never been one to turn to God let alone pray, but now’s a time to pray that God has Jack under his wing.

I’ll see you soon♥️

Jacqueline, Jackie, and most recently Jack,

Words can’t describe how amazing of a kid you were and how lucky I was to have you as a second little brother. Coaching you in basketball, playing on Port Nelson and sometimes being a bad influence on you two. I look back to the last 19 years of seeing you and Will running in and out of the house and smile. The laughs you brought us, your friends, and your family will live forever.

Most of all, I will always be thankful for how you impacted my brother’s life for 17 years. I know how much Will loved you and how you helped him become the man he is. For that I will be forever grateful.

See You Soon Brother,

Love Nick
