According to a source, Jazelle Monique Armenta has passed away after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening on the southwest side.
Jazelle Monique Armenta was a part of the Tucson youth football team, the Tucson Redskins. The team is now mourning the loss of their beloved cheerleader.
“Our cheerleaders are everything out here. They’re the kids that pick the boys up. The little girls that are out in the sun, morning, noon, night. They are the backbone to everything we do,” President of Tucson Redskins football and cheer team, Michael Carpenter said.
