Jerry Null Obituary Centerville; Jerry Null Car Accident – Dead

Last Tuesday night, a two-vehicle crash south of Sioux Falls claimed the life of a man from Centerville, South Dakota.

A 2022 Subaru Outback Touring SUV was going north on Interstate 29 when it went off the road, crossed the median, and struck the trailer of a 2015 Freightliner TR semi-truck and trailer, according to preliminary incident data. The SUV was the first to burn. Jerry Null, the SUV’s 69-year-old driver, had to be extricated and was pronounced dead on the scene.

There were no casualties among the people inside the semi-two vehicle. Noel Medina, 44, of Chaparral, New Mexico, was the driver. Gabriel Herrera, a 35-year-old resident of El Paso, Texas, was the traveler.

Seatbelts were used to restrain all three accident victims.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the collision. Prior information has only been released to the public.
