No plan to Increase fuel price – NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC,Wednesday, expelled

claims that it was wanting to climb the cost of Premium Motor Spirit,

PMS, otherwise called petrol. The NNPC, in an announcement in Abuja,

additionally exhorted drivers to stop from frenzy purchasing of

petroleum items as it has more than 1.3 billion liters supply of PMS,

which is adequate to serve the country for over 38 days.

It stated: "NNPC wishes to guarantee Nigerians that there is no

particle of truth in the talk that administration is booked to alter

pump cost of petrol. Without a doubt, with the resumption of

generation by the organization's three refineries in Kaduna, Port

Harcourt and Warri, supplemented by imports, there is sufficient load

of PMS, Automotive Gas Oil, AGO, dieseland lamp fuel." "This much was

clarified on Tuesday by NNPC Chief Operating Officer of the

Refineries, Mr. Anibor Kragha, while instructions the SenateCommittee

on Petroleum Downstream in a presentation on the present status of the

refineries at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja."
