A two-year-old boy was reportedly driven over by a tractor at Rosepark Farm, close to Ballymoney, and died as a result.
The incident was reported to the NI Ambulance Service via a 999 call at 12:32 on Friday, according to them. Paramedics sent to the property rushed Noah McAleese to a hospital in Coleraine, County Londonderry.
Sinn Féin legislator Philip McGuigan described the toddler’s death as “devastating.” The hardship the family must be going through is tough to describe, he said.
Democratic Unionist Party councilman Mervyn Storey conveyed his worry and best wishes for Noah’s family. When I heard of the tragedy this evening, I could only but think how difficult it would be to have to deal with such grief, he said.
