**Winner Ebere Egbo** is a budding Nigerian artiste who came to
limelight following her participation in the ninth season of the MTN
Project Fame West Africa where she finished as one of the six
Winner, as she is fondly called by her fans, was born to the family of
Mr and Mrs Egbo on the 17th of August, 1993 and she is the first of
four girls. She hails from Delta State, in the South-South region of
Nigeria but currently resides in Abuja, the capital city of the
Winner's singing ability might have been a surprise to many, but
certainly not to her mum from whom it appears she has taken a cue. Her
mum was a music director in a church when she was much younger and she
would go with her mum to rehearsals at her tender age; that aroused
her interest in music.
Winner has since grown to become a powerful vocalist: her cover of
Adele's " Hello" was adjudged by one of the judges ( TY Mix) as the
best cover of the song he had ever heard during one of her
performances at the academy.
Winner admits that she is still growing as she wants to reach that
stage where her music will reach the ends of the world.
Winner's role models include Sinach, Waje and Celine Dion to mention but a few.
She sets of her career officially by doing covers songs of amazing
artists around the globe.
First on the list is Alexandra Burke's version of " HALLELUJAH"
which will be released on 21st Nov
Winner says " Hallelujah " is just one of four covers she will be
doing before finally dropping her official sing real soon.
So her fans and everyone should watch out for her.
