Former Top Gear host Sue Baker passes away at the age of 67.

Over 10 years, from 1980 to 1991, Sue, a motoring journalist, hosted the first season of Top Gear on the BBC.

Her family released a statement on Monday morning to confirm her passing at home. She had already been diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

a dedicated mother to Ian and Hannah, a loving grandmother to Tom and George, and a wonderful mother-in-law to Lucy. This morning, she passed away at home, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was a skilled and prolific writer, a captivating TV host, and a passionate supporter of animals. She had a life and a job that many would find admirable, but because of the grace with which she handled everything, everyone she knew loved and admired her. We understand how much she meant to so many people.
