    Philip Yankauskas Obituary, Beloved Soul Philip Yankauskas Has Died

    Philip Yankauskas Death – On Tuesday, April 20, 2021, Philip Benedict Yankauskas, 57, of Lawrence, Michigan, died away quietly in the company of his devoted family. He was reared in Hebron, Indiana, after being born in Valparaiso on July 27, 1963. His brother Phillip M. Yankauskas and parents Benedict J. Yankauskas Jr. and Virginia (Michal) Yankauskas passed away before him.

    Self-employed, Philip was well-known for running P&J Repairs. His love of farming, gardening, fixing cars and tractors, taking care of the family farm’s livestock, and remodeling houses all brought joy and enrichment to his life. As a seasoned participant in multiple Porter County Fairs, Philip was also a longstanding member of the Boone Boosters 4H Club.

    Philip was a real earth enthusiast who felt a strong bond with life and the natural world. His natural ability to listen and comprehend allowed him to remedy any vehicle problem by simply “listening.” Known as a “multi-faceted professional technician,” he was proud of his assortment of special skills.

    Philip, who is well-known for having a kind heart and a beautiful voice, has devoted his latter years to his biggest passion: spending time in Pure Michigan with his family and his seven grandchildren. His son Philip Jr. (Lindsey) Yankauskas of Lawrence, Michigan, and his grandchildren Hanna, Connor, Abel, Philip III, and Lucas Yankauskas survive him. Tina Yankauskas also leaves behind a loving family. Adler and Benanaiah Rosenbaum, his grandkids, and Stephanie (Collin) Rosenbaum, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, are also included. In addition, the Yankauskas family has eleven brothers, one sister, and a large number of nieces and nephews who survive Philip.

    The life of Philip Benedict Yankauskas will be recalled for its abundance of love, family, and diverse abilities that warmed the hearts of everyone he encountered. I hope he finds eternal peace.
