Saint Cloud On August 24, 2020, Gary F. Storkamp passed away in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. There will be no church services, per Gary’s desire. The William Steenman Family Funeral Home in Socrates received the assignment.
On March 31, 1952, Milton and Ada (Reichel) Storkamp in St. Cloud had a son named Gary. He wed Karen Bacca and afterward got a divorce. Gary has spent his entire life in the St. Cloud region. He has worked a range of occupations, including retail store and restaurant signage, most recently as a dump truck driver for Marson, who retired in 2017. Gary likes going on vacation, especially to Arizona, having barbecues, going camping with his family, watching movies, fixing cars, and collecting kites. He is a mechanically inclined, intelligent, and modest craftsman.
Children Rhiannon of Minneapolis, Kara (Brian Gedatus) of Suttle, and Gary (Alicia) of St. Paul are still living. Gary also leaves behind siblings Jean Chastain of Waycross, Georgia, and of Bloomington. John from St. Cloud, Mark from St. Cloud, and Kathy (Roger) Bloomquist. His parents and sister Marilyn Menzueber predeceased him.
