Sheila Bellush Death And Obituary – The murder of a Texas billionaire’s ex-wife, who was found murdered in her kitchen with her throat slit and her 2-year-old quadruplets crawling in her blood, was planned, and the millionaire was found guilty today.
The fourth person to be found guilty or enter a guilty plea in the Sheila Bellush murder-for-hire case is Allen Blackthorne, 45. He could be sentenced to life in jail without the chance of release.
The killer admitted guilt in Florida just hours before the judgment was announced. The 24-year-old Jose Luis Del Toro Jr. then sung a song pleading for mercy. He received two consecutive life sentences.
In 1997, Bellush, 35, was killed in Sarasota, Florida. Her 13-year-old daughter from her marriage to Blackthorne found her body. Her second marriage’s quadruplets crawled around unharmed in a backyard pool while wearing life jackets.
bitter custody dispute After a protracted custody dispute, the prosecution has painted Blackthorne as a liar who offered to kill his ex-wife for up to $54,000 in exchange for regaining custody of his two adopted girls. Also, he will be rewarded for taking care of Bellush’s second spouse. He allegedly utilized private detectives to find Belushi after she left Texas, according to the prosecution.
Blackthorne admitted throughout the trial that he had threatened to kill Belushi because he believed she was a bad mother when taking the witness stand. He, though, denies planning her slaying.
A federal jury deliberated for 33 hours before finding Blackthorne responsible for both interstate domestic violence and an interstate conspiracy to murder for hire. He’ll be sentenced on November 2.
Disappointment and Joy As law enforcement officers issued their warnings about possible disturbance, the courtroom became hushed. Gene Smith, Bellush’s mother, however, raised her arms and shouted “Hallelujah!” as the elevator door flew open when it reached the first floor.
She prayed for God to bless everyone who defended her daughter. Godspeed to these wonderful people.
“We think there was more than enough cause for concern. “A great injustice has been done,” defense lawyer Richard Rubin declared, adding that he would file an appeal.
