Erling Haaland, a forward for Manchester City, has etched his name into Premier League history.
The Norwegian is the only player in Premier League history to have nine goals in his first five matches. He defeated players like Micky Quinn and Sergio Aguero, who each had eight goals in their first five games. Haaland accomplished this feat by scoring a triple trick against Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium.
The 22-year-old is filling the enormous shoes of Sergio Aguero, a City great who also had a stellar debut in the Premier League at the Etihad. At the age of 23, the Argentine signed with Manchester City, where he went on to record 187 goals.
In the Premier League and probably the UEFA Champions League, Haaland appears to be a player who will shatter a lot of records.
