EPL: Chelsea Coach, Potter Receives Sack Warning

Graham Potter, manager of Chelsea, has been told by former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood that he will be fighting for his job if the Blues’ slump persists.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who Chelsea signed in the summer, is allegedly being made to seem horrible, according to Sherwood.

After a promising beginning at Stamford Bridge, Potter’s reign at Chelsea is currently going through a trying time as the west London club has only earned two points in their previous four games.

In addition to failing to recover from their 4-1 loss to Brighton at the end of last month, Potter’s team suffered a home loss to Premier League leaders Arsenal on Sunday.

Chelsea’s most recent results have caused them to fall 13 points behind Arsenal on the log and five points outside the top-four spots.

Sherwood, however, thinks that if Chelsea loses against Newcastle United the following weekend in their penultimate game before the mid-season break for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Potter will face tremendous pressure at Chelsea.

You can’t dispute that they don’t have the striking force, Sherwood remarked on The Kelly and Wrighty Show. Aubameyang and Lukaku, two of the Premier League’s top scorers, are being made to look bad by Chelsea.

“They must examine themselves. I am aware that there are two distinct mangers, and Tuchel is also partially to blame.
