Here we go: Raphinha to Barcelona

Fabrizio Romano announced on Twitter that Raphinha’s long-awaited move to Barcelona has officially begun.

Within the next few days, the deal—which seems to have taken years to complete—will be official, with Romano adding, “Raphinha to Barcelona, here we go! After today’s bid was accepted, an entire deal was achieved with Leeds, totaling a €67 million package (€58 million fixed fee plus add-ons).

For Leeds supporters, it will be a bitter-sweet occasion as they will be heartbroken to see their star Brazilian leave the club but also relieved that it is finally over and they can move on. Hopefully, Jesse Marsch will be able to expand his team by utilising the revenue collected from the cash-strapped Spanish giants. A top scorer, a backup goalie, and a left back are all needed.
