Richarlison’s transfer from Everton to Tottenham has been finalized for 60 million British pounds. The Brazilian attacker, who spent the previous four years at Goodison Park, has agreed to a five-year contract with Spurs.
“Richarlison has completed a transfer from Everton to Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed price,” read a statement from Everton.
Everyone at Everton would want to express their gratitude to Richarlison for his dedication and contribution to the team.
25-year-old Richarlison led Everton to a 16th-place finish in the Premier League last year, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in 30 games. Everton narrowly avoided relegation.
He joined the Merseyside club in 2018 from Watford, who are entitled to get 10% of any deal exceeding 40 million British pounds for the striker. Since then, he has scored 53 goals in 152 games for the club.
Richarlison joins the likes of Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic, and Yves Bissouma as Tottenham’s fourth summer additions.
